How we see pets
I want to know what makes your pet your pet. The obvious things, sure.
Their routine, favourite treats, medication and where everything is kept. But I also want the weirdly specific stuff.
What makes them ridiculously happy? Is there a game that they enjoy every morning? Do they get a specific bedtime snacky at a specific time? Will they only eat if you’re around?
What’s the adorable, dorky, silly things that they do to make you laugh and love them so hard that they’re the best pet in the whole wide world?
I want to know them that deeply too. 🙂

A walk is more than physical exercise. Sniffing, exploring and having some choice in how they move through their environment provide valuable mental enrichment, too. I adjust pace, route and expectations to the dog(s) in my care and what they’re showing me that day.
